Brand New 2026 Talaria Sting R MX Electric Off-Road Motorcycle
The 2026 Talaria Sting R MX is the most accomplished version yet, pushing electric off-road performance to a new level. Built by Talaria, this latest Sting R MX refines power delivery, handling, comfort, and efficiency to deliver a truly class-leading riding experience.
At the heart of the Sting R MX is an all-new air-cooled motor with a nominal output of 4kW and a peak power of 8kW, producing a huge 45Nm of torque. This represents a 33% increase over the original Sting, resulting in noticeably faster acceleration and a 13% increase in top speed, now reaching up to 53mph. The result is instant, relentless performance that puts the Sting R MX firmly at the top of the electric off-road market.
To support these higher demands, Talaria has fitted a significantly upgraded battery system. Capacity has increased by 18%, from 38Ah to 45Ah, delivering stronger acceleration, higher sustained speeds, and a real-world range of up to 53 miles at 25mph. The new 2.7kW charging system also reduces charge time by 25%, taking the bike from 0–100% in just 3 hours, so you spend less time waiting and more time riding.
Power is delivered through a proven internal gearbox and chain drive, offering consistent performance, excellent reliability, and improved resistance to drivetrain damage compared to belt-driven competitors. Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear provide confident, predictable stopping power in all conditions.
The chassis has also seen major improvements. A rigid frame and reinforced swingarm, combined with upgraded suspension, now offer a wider range of preload and rebound adjustment, allowing riders to fine-tune the bike for everything from technical trails to aggressive freeriding. This setup makes the Sting R MX arguably best in class for handling and control.
Comfort hasn’t been overlooked either. A new, more comfortable seat makes longer rides far more enjoyable, while the low overall weight of just 66kg keeps the bike agile, playful, and confidence-inspiring—perfect for throwing around on tight sections or sending jumps.
With four adjustable regenerative braking levels, you can tailor the ride exactly how you want it: maximise efficiency and range, or dial it back for pure performance and free riding.
